Biography

Tahrana has more than 20 years of experience in microclimate, including pedestrian wind comfort, snow drifting, highway snow drifting and roof snow loading. She has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (Co-op), as well as a Master of Applied Environmental Studies (MAES) in Planning, both from the University of Waterloo. She has provided expert guidance on wind and snow effects during concept design, master planning and detailed design phases on hundreds of projects worldwide. She provides technical direction and leadership for her team, in addition to providing practical and creative solutions for the design teams.
