Biography
Aleksandra graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology in 2017. She took part in many design workshops as an organizer and participant, including international workshops in Alghero, Italy. She was a long-term holder of the Rector’s scholarship for the best students. Both of her graduation projects were created in the Institute of History of Architecture and Monuments Preservation revealing interest in contemporary design in the historical context.
Her early professional experience includes two years in Cracow branch of Rijnboutt – an Amsterdam based studio, which specialises in heritage projects based on in-depth research. There she improved her knowledge of the BIM environment, working on projects ranging from interiors, residential, office and retail facilities to extensive hotel complexes, mixed-use developments and landscape design.
While still a student she developed particular interest in the psychological, sociological and ergonomic aspects of architecture. She believes that well-designed space, carefully tailored to the user needs can have a positive impact on their health and well-being. She also believes that, whenever possible, architecture should be designed as accessible to all and in sustainable way.
Aleksandra joined SLR in November 2019, and works across a variety of projects and sectors ranging from planning applications to detailed construction packages.
