Jonathan Salter

Biography

Jonathan is the Head of NEST, SLR's Digital Ventures Incubator, where he is responsible for the identification, evaluation, incubation and commercial development of digital products and ventures that support SLR's strategic growth ambitions. Working across the business, he leads the development of frameworks, governance and investment pathways that help transform innovative ideas into scalable digital solutions that create value for clients and drive long term recurring revenue opportunities.

Jonathan has over 13 years' experience in geospatial data, digital solutions and environmental consulting. Prior to leading NEST, he served as Practice Lead for SLR Europe's Geospatial & Data Solutions team, where he was responsible for the strategic direction, growth and delivery of GIS and data services across a diverse portfolio of environmental, infrastructure and development projects. He has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, developing digital capabilities and supporting the application of technology and data-driven solutions across complex client challenges.

His experience spans digital product strategy, innovation management, geospatial technologies, data solutions and business transformation, with a particular focus on bridging environmental expertise with emerging technologies to accelerate growth, improve operational efficiency and enhance client outcomes.
