Biography
Michael is a chartered Town Planner with over 15 years’ experience in private sector planning and environmental consultancy. He is responsible for project managing and co-ordinating projects across the whole development life cycle: from initial planning appraisals and pre-application discussions; to application submissions; through to discharge of planning conditions and variation applications.
His experience is wide ranging, but with a particular emphasis on national / major renewable energy developments projects and developments with the potential to have significant adverse effects on the environment. As well as having a good understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, he has an excellent understanding of the range of planning and environmental issues that frequently arise on such projects and how to mitigate these issues or cross these consenting hurdles where they occur.
