SLR welcomes new Asia Pacific Advisory and Digital Analytics Service Line Director

We are very pleased to officially welcome Ty Phillips to SLR in his new role as our Asia Pacific Advisory and Digital Analytics Service Line Director. Ty is currently based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.

On his reasons for joining, Ty said, “I joined because under the hood SLR is exactly what you’d expect your sustainability advisor to look like: it's packed with actual environmental science skills, everyone works on the project together under one P&L, and sustainability has been in their heart from day zero. These might sound like basics, but they're very hard to find elsewhere and they make all the difference.”

Ty brings an exceptional mix of Management Consulting, Engineering and Environmental Consulting and Government experience. He is a strong cultural fit for our team, while also providing valuable new perspectives and connections to our business.

Regarding Ty’s appointment Asia Pacific Managing Director, Paul Gardiner, commented:

The Advisory and Digital Analytics group within the Asia Pacific region currently consists of our ESG Strategic Advisory team, led by Migual Oyarbide, Sustainable Waste Management, led by Chani Lokuge and our strategic partnership with CLIMSystems, led by Peter Urich.
