Biography

James Van Horne has over 10 years of experience providing environmental consulting services to primarily midstream and upstream oil and gas industry clients throughout the western United States.He also has experience with bulk cement, wood pellet manufacturing, and coal mining facilities. He serves as SLR’s technical lead for process simulation using ProMax®. His other areas of expertise include, assisting with enforcement actions, regulatory applicability analysis (NSPS and NESHAP), dispersion modeling (AERMOD and ISC3), air permitting, emission inventory development, and compliance management. Mr. Van Horne also has experience in stack testing management and oversight, greenhouse gas emissions estimation and reporting, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) air quality analyses.
